Olly's Woodland Summer Holiday Club
We will be running our summer club but with a few changes
made to keep all safe in this current climate.
The sessions will have a smaller size limit on them. We also
are not going to offer single days; this is to maintain a safer ‘bubble’ to
work with. We are only running for 4 days of the week. This will allow for a
clean of the inside areas between the weeks. The first week will run
Tuesday to Friday, the remaining four will run Monday to Thursday.
Sessions are being run from St Peter’s RC school in
Newchurch. This allows us to make use of their toilets and large hall for any
inside activities and also, and more importantly, gives us use of their amazing
outdoor space including a small wood where we will be spending most of our time.
No two weeks will be the same. The days will be as 'child
led' as possible with numerous activities available. Obviously, the weather
will determine if some of the outdoor activities are possible.
Two separate small groups of children that will not mix
(numbers permitting)
Each person is to have their temperature taken at the start
of the day, if a temperature is above normal then that person will not be
permitted to enter.
Outdoor activities as much as possible
Hand wash breaks before and after every activity (including
lunch, snack and drinks breaks) - We will have hand sanitiser on site. However,
please supply your child with their own hand sanitiser.
Lunches and snacks will need to be brought along; we may
have snacks around the campfire. All snacks and drinks/drink bottles need to be
brought from home and be fully disposable, all containers/cutlery to be
recycled/disposed of on site.
Each week will cost £80 and if you require a late collection
these will be £5/child/day.
More information will be sent out prior to each week, and we
will be constantly updating ourselves to ensure that we are compliant with any
guidelines issued.
We are expecting the places to fill up quickly, we are
giving the people on the mailing list a few days advance notice before opening
this up to all. Please feel free though to share this with others who may
want to take advantage of the early bird offer! (especially with your child’s
friends’ parents)
